Spot XXX - Camera Mount Trial 1/3/09

With all the positive reports being showcased by Video I was interested in setting my own up, Will post the details of the build later on but in the meantime I will mention two 1" Scotty Ball mounts and Bunnings, Bunnings, Bunnings. I wanted to try a spot that is neglected due to clearer water of its brother, I named it XXX for being the dirty older sister ( Hint ).

The water is plenty dirty and at some stages the Fishfinder failed to show bed contours at all, from 2m to 5m.Never fished it before but have seen some photos of cracker Golden catches and some big Cod too, the video shows me hooking up briefly to some sort of Native before running out of room on the SD card and receiving an almighty whack while on the phone and paddling one handed. Dipping the paddle to maintain position gave the lure a spastic motion that almost brought about the undoing of a following Golden.

Still, got a few Redfin and the video came out great...
