New laws were introduced to parliament today giving government more powers to protect our fisheries from companies intending to use the Abel Tasman such as Seafish Tasmania.
Main reasons for the change apart from public outcry are concerns over the trawlers ability to easily catch and kill marine animals such as Dolphins and Seals (Along with endangered Sharks).
