2012 DAIWA HOBIE KAYAK SERIES GRAND FINAL
Well another year and another series of Hobie fishing tournaments draws to an end, some may say the most sucessfull ever. Recently the Aussie team returned home from the Daiwa Hobie Kayak Fishing Worlds tournament with a couple of notable aussies in the top 10 and the rest placing well in a field full of great anglers. No rest for the wicked though with the Daiwa Hobie Grand Final this weekend, held at the infamous Bemm River. Its going to be a hard fought affair with various techniques used in varying locations, with only one yakker pedaling away with the crown.
From what I have heard there is a full prefish ban and its fishing well. Many of the qualifying anglers have fished here before and will have a trick or two up their sleeve, others will have to figure it out for themselves in the grandest of ways. Good luck to all those who qualified for the GF, its not an easy task.
The regulars have really got fishing for Black Bream downpat but my money is on the majority, not the minority. Its one of those places where a never say die attitude helps, it also fishes really well in the wind and sums up what bream fishing is all about.
